What You’ll Do
•Lead the electrical design for a variety of site development and public works projects from concept through construction.
•Design low-voltage power systems, lighting (including photometric analysis), and infrastructure for commercial, residential, and municipal facilities.
•Draft plans, perform technical calculations, and prepare specifications and cost estimates.
•Conduct field inspections and contribute to QA/QC on project deliverables.
•Coordinate with in-house civil, surveying, natural resources, and other disciplines.
•Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, utility providers, and public agencies.
Who You Are
•Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering with the ability to obtain reciprocity in Oregon and Washington.
•Experienced with at least 5 years in full-scope electrical design (lighting, power, and voltage systems).
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, Visual, and EasyPower.
•Excellent written and verbal communicator who can produce clear proposals, reports, and documentation.
•Organized and self-motivated with a knack for managing priorities across multiple projects.
Nice to Have
•Experience with utility coordination and commissioning/start-up processes.
•Familiarity with public infrastructure and energy code compliance.
•Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate on multidiscipline projects.
•Prior experience with both private and public sector clients.
•Willingness to travel occasionally for project site visits (valid driver’s license required).
