Civil Construction Labourer

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction projects, performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building and renovation works. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work well in a team environment, and a commitment to safety on the job site.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various construction tasks.

- Operate hand tools and power tools under the guidance of skilled tradespeople.

- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as required.

- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and storing them properly after use.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
