Chemical Process Engineer – LNG

Position Summary:

Cheniere is hiring Chemical/Process Engineers to support operations at its cutting-edge LNG facility in Gregory, TX. In this role, you'll be the technical point of contact for all matters related to the facility’s process systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required)

·        5+ years (Senior) or 10+ years (Staff) of experience in petrochemical, LNG, NGL, or gas processing operations

·        Strong knowledge of fluid flow, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydrocarbon chemistry

·        Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS)

·        Experience in PHA, HAZOP, and MOC processes

·

Key Responsibilities:

·        Monitor, analyze, and optimize plant processes to ensure safe and efficient operations

·        Troubleshoot process upsets and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams

·        Develop and run process simulations using HYSYS or similar software

·        Support commissioning, startup, and operational transitions of new/existing units

·        Participate in PHAs, PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews
