Chemical Operator
Location: Kings Mountain, NC
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Overtime as needed)
Compensation: $17 – $20 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to join our team in Kings Mountain, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience handling chemicals, operating forklifts, and adhering to safety protocols. A pre-employment drug screening will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
•
Handle, mix, and process chemicals according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
•
Utilize forklifts to transport materials and products within the facility.
•
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch logs and inventory levels.
•
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Prior experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
•
Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification preferred.
•
Strong understanding of chemical handling procedures and safety protocols.
•
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
