We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer MSc or PhD (must be registered with APEGA OR be eligible for registration ) with a strong background in laboratory experiments, water analysis, and the characterization of solid sorbents, catalysts, and related materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating pilot-scale and large-scale chemical processes, with a solid understanding of process optimization, data interpretation, and scale-up methodologies.
- Develop and optimize laboratory methods and experimental designs for testing and characterizing solid media used in minerals extraction from water.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot pilot-scale and large-scale process systems, ensuring consistent performance and safety.
- Set up and manage experimental runs in scaled environments to validate process scalability and performance i.e XRD, ICP, SEM, BET surface area analysis.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to the R&D team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design experiments and develop new methodologies.
- Maintain lab safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting (including research internships).
- Proven experience running and managing pilot-scale and large-scale process experiments.
- Proficiency in analytical instrumentation TOC, ICP..etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analysis software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
