Certified Flagger /Traffic Controller

Experienced Certified Flagger wanted for year round work in various sites throughout Lackawanna County. Flagger Certification and experience a must. Must have knowledge and experience setting up various work zones correctly and adjusting to shifts in patterns. Must have experience setting up arrow boards correctly. Is able to communicate effectively and take charge of a zone and the safety of all crew members and contractors. Looking for a candidate that represents the company and client in a professional manner at all times. Must be able to deal with the general public and coworkers in a respectful and professional manner. Clean driving record and background check.

Works as part of a 2 person crew to perform traffic protection for the duration of the activity. A normal workday may be longer than eight hours. Must be comfortable working outdoors and standing for long periods of time. Must be comfortable working in the outdoor elements year round.

PPE provided. All workers, including Flaggers, shall wear a hard hat, ANSI Class 3 multicolor vest and pants (yellow). ANSI Class 3 raincoat and Class E rain bib overalls may be worn instead of the vest and chaps, but only during inclement weather. Standing for extended periods of time expected.
