We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certification Project Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our products meet all necessary certification standards and regulations.
Role Definition:
Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies.
Job Description: The Certification Engineer will play a key role in managing certification projects, coordinating with external certification bodies, and supporting the engineering team. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Key
Responsibilities:* Certification
Projects: Extensive involvement in certification projects, including creating technical files for fuel modules, fire cabinets, PED manifolds, and Catch4 projects.
•Documentation: Create and manage data sheets, data plates templates, certified device lists, and collect certificates for electrical components.
•Coordination: Coordinate and schedule inspectors for onsite inspections, update third parties if schedules change, and work with inspectors to certify projects.
•External Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for external certification bodies such as CSA, DNV, and ATEX/PED.
•Support: Provide support to other team members and assist with documentation requests from PMs, Quality, and suppliers/buyers.
•Training and Backup: Train and serve as backup for MEs, and assist with Pegasus/LN.
•BIQ Coordination: Produce monthly engineering metrics as the BIQ Coordinator.
Responsibilities
•Creating new component level designs and resolves issues regarding the manufacturing or product operation. Ensuring design acceptance, manufacturing readiness, and validation.
•Participating in the adoption of new technologies and process improvements to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
•Support definition of engineering procedures to make the product or process more reliable, efficient and cost-effective. Understanding functional requirements and translating into detail design documents.
•Collaborating with all functional areas to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the enterprise partners and customers.
•Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Minimum Requirements:
Essential qualifications and experiences such as High School Diploma or Equivalent. High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills and Programs:
Specific skills, machines, or computer programs needed. Strong proficiency in the use of office applications, specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Additionally, due to the documentation requirements of the role, usage of PDF authoring tools for signatures is required.

Summary Pay Range:
$87,456.00 - $131,184.00
