Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy truck.
Duties
•
Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations according to scheduled routes.
•
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
•
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route driven.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
•
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
•
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on assigned routes.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.
•
Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
•
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
•
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
