CDL Transport/Bobtail Driver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, and tanker operations. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and timely delivery of freight. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across designated routes while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

- Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.

- Pick up product from manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors and deliver to designated location.

- Load and unload trucks.

- Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel usage.

- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to schedules.

- Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.

- Communicate with customers to resolve concerns.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and cargo area.

- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven. (HAZMAT a must)

- Proven experience in truck driving.

- Ability to load and unload.

- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
