A CDL Trainer is responsible for the on-going training of Commercial Driver’s License and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety compliance education. This position must implement effective and safe training techniques for entry level drivers in both classroom and road environments. This position will assist in facilitating and maintaining DOT regulation compliance on office yards and project sites, as well as manage situations arising during mobilization efforts. Critical for success is the ability to be self-motivated and possess excellent written and oral communication.

What it takes:
•3+ years of licensed tractor/trailer experience
•At least 3 years of relevant experience in DOT regulations and safety compliance
•Third Party Examiner Certification or the ability to obtain within approved timeframe
•Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with no restrictions and valid Medical Card
•Construction industry experience (desired)
•A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
