CDL driver/ Fleet Mechanic

Job Summary

We are looking for someone who will delivery propane throughout the gallatin county region to residential and commercial customers. When you are not delivering you will be fixing all company equipment/vehicles and completing any services needed on equipment. We are looking for someone who doesn't mind working overtime in January and February when it gets cold out. You receive a Christmas bonus and spring driver bonus. We are willing to train if you don't have any experience delivering propane.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.

- Conduct inspections on vehicles to identify potential problems before they become serious.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.

- Collaborate with drivers to understand vehicle performance issues and provide solutions.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair work.

Experience

- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on CDL fleet vehicles.

- Experience in route driving or commercial driving is a plus.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Knowledge of safety protocols related to vehicle maintenance and operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
