CCTV Camera Truck Operator

Nelson Sanitation & Rental, Inc. is a locally owned, well established, growing company. We are seeking outgoing professionals that have the desire to excel. A class A or class B with a tanker is preferred but not required. A clean driving record is required.

The Full-Time CCTV Operator would be for municipal utilities and other private jobsite jobs. Experience is preferred; however we are willing to train the right candidate. Must pass a background check and willing to get a medical card upon hire.

Main duties will include sewer maintenance/pipeline inspection and record information and location data using mapping grade GPS equipment. Produce daily reports of the inspection.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

Operation and maintenance of all robotic televising and other equipment.

Locate underground facilities using radio frequency locator using NASSCO’s PACP Coding in a CCTV truck.

Demonstrate proficiency with software programs required to operate equipment.

Ability to climb, bend, sit, stoop, reach, stand, and crawl repetitively. Ability to work in all outdoor elements for an extended period of time. Individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Dependability to report to work on time and willingness to work overtime when required.

Perform daily safety checks, pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order.

Complete reports for any defective equipment.

Operating and maintaining company work vehicle on a daily basis while keeping the inside and outside vehicle clean and organized at all times.

Refuel trucks, check and add fluids as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and maintenance procedures. Follow Company, DOT regulations, and OSHA mandated safety policies.

Ability to drive truck safely through residential streets, alleys, and other residence or business areas following all driving laws and using seat belt at all times.

Hours ranging 50 plus hours per week.

Pay is competitive and based on experience ranging between $65,000 to $130,000 per year.
