Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.
Responsibilities
•
Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
•
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs.
•
Assist in product demonstrations and provide information about promotions or sales to enhance the shopping experience.
•
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
•
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring adherence to company policies regarding cash handling.
•
Support sales efforts by upselling products when appropriate and answering customer inquiries effectively.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
•
Perform basic math calculations to provide change and process payments accurately.
Qualifications
•
Previous experience in cashiering or sales is preferred but not required.
•
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
•
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•
Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
•
Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage, though training will be provided.
•
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
•
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
•
Candidate with Propane refilling license and smart serve will be preferred.

Pay: $1,500.00-$4,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
