Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. Duties

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues.

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.

- Supervise and train new cashiers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges.

- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels at the register area.

- Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed, including programmable logic controllers and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.

- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.

- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and CMMS is beneficial.

- Basic knowledge of welding, electrical systems, and mechanical principles is an asset.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and schematics can enhance job performance.

- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with customers and team members.

- Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
