In-House Carpenter Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Carpenter to join our operations team. This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing existing properties/structures and features across our commercial landscape projects such as site furnishings (Benches, tables, chairs), Cabanas, Pergola/Gazebo installations, and outdoor kitchen, BBQ installations. Includes some concrete/footing work. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience working in a commercial property environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance on landscape features including decks, pergolas, fencing, planter boxes, and Site Amenities. Some Office/Property Management work will be required for company properties/assets.
•Assist with fabrication of wooden forms for concrete work when needed
•Maintain, repair, and construct wooden elements related to Structures. Residential and Commercial/Multifamily property.
•Collaborate with landscape teams on projects requiring carpentry expertise
•Respond promptly to carpentry-related service requests
•Perform preventative site maintenance on wooden structures (windows, doors, cabinets, decks, pergolas, fencing, stairs) to extend their lifespan
•Maintain inventory of carpentry tools, equipment, and supplies
•Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
•Document all work performed for record-keeping purposes
•Support installation teams with specialty wood construction elements when needed
Qualifications
•3+ years of experience in carpentry, preferably in Multifamily Residential/Commercial property maintenance
•Proficient with carpentry tools, equipment, and measuring instruments
•Knowledge of various wood types, treatments, and appropriate applications
•Understanding of building codes and standards related to structures
•Experience with blueprint reading and technical drawings
•Valid driver's license with clean driving record
•Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in various weather conditions
•Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in carpentry preferred

This is a CONTRACT position for the first 90 days. The position may lead to Full Time position upon completion of the contract period.
