Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Haul Truck Operator, Tech 4 to join our Surface Mine Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

•

Follow proper procedures for operation of mobile equipment, including performing preoperational inspections.

•

Has a basic knowledge of material type and pays attention to the dispatch screen.

•

Has an understanding of loading area management and sequencing.

•

Makes every move count to maximize cycle efficiencies, drives at appropriate speeds and can explain operators impact on tire life.

•

Perform all Technician 3 duties proficiently.

•

Performs a systematic and thorough walk around of machine and can identify major components.

•

Proficiently stages and pre-spots under loading units.

•

Proficient in all dumping practices and understands the impact of miss routed material.

•

Understands VIMS in relation to the operating system.

•

Comply with state and federal safety and environmental regulations and NGM standards, policies and procedures.

•

Qualifications:

•

Demonstrate proficiency in all requirements (internal) or equivalent experience (external).

•

Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model required

•

Ability to be an integral, team member in a growing, fast-paced environment required

•

Good attendance record required

•

The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
