Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Canvasser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community through door-to-door outreach, promoting our initiatives, and gathering support for various campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with people. - Conduct door-to-door canvassing to set solar consultations.
- Overcome objections with homeowners providing basic information and answering questions about our goal.
- Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to persuade individuals to meet with our energy experts to see if solar is a good fit for their homes.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and feedback from the field.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and improve canvassing techniques.
- Previous experience in canvassing, sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during conversations.
- 30 hours/week
- Monday and Thursday in-office training in Blaine, MN
