The Call Centre Representative reports to the Call Centre Manager and works remotely once training is complete. Collaborating with various KUS projects, the representative handles both inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with scheduling appointments for water, electric, and gas meter changes. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask independently, effective time management, attention to detail for accurate data entry, adaptability in a fast-paced setting, and strong organizational skills.
- Salary: $41,000 annually
- 55 month contract with possibility of extension
- Location: Your home office! With the occasional in office visit
- Company issued laptop/technology
- 1 week in office training period (located in Calgary, AB)
What would your day look like as a call centre associate with KTI?
- Handle incoming calls and make outbound calls to offer support to callers
- Assist callers to book, reschedule, and cancel appointments for our infield technicians
- Troubleshoot issues with missed appointments, provide solutions and escalate appropriately as needed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each project requirements
- Stay updated on policy changes to provide accurate information for customers
- Work closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality and knowledge
- Call Centre Hours of Operation: 8am-8pm Monday – Friday & Saturday 9am-5:30pm
- Provide insight into trends, problems, and potential solutions to aid in call center growth
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
- Post secondary degree with at least 1 year of call centre experience
- A person with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, adaptability, and a strong capacity to thrive in dynamic environment
- A strong communicator who likes interacting with others and can work independently
What would take your candidacy to the next level?
- Extensive call centre experience
- Comfortable with MS Windows, and MS Office capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Previous experience in the utilities industry
