We are looking for a proactive and persuasive Call Center Sales Representative – Appointment Setter
to contact prospective customers and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to engage leads over the phone, identify their needs, and secure appointments for sales consultations or product demos.
This is a high-impact role where strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly are key to success.
- Make outbound calls to prospects from lead lists or CRM systems.
- Engage potential customers in meaningful conversation to understand their needs and qualify their interest.
- Convert leads into scheduled appointments for the sales team.
- Confirm appointment details and ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded.
- Follow scripts and talking points while adapting to each call for a natural conversation.
- Manage follow-ups with warm leads and re-engage dormant prospects.
- Track call outcomes and appointment results using internal tools (CRM, scheduling software).
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure appointment quality and optimize conversion rates.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for calls and booked appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Previous experience in a call center, telemarketing, or lead generation role is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build quick rapport.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting performance metrics.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications.
