We are seeking an experienced and motivated Call Center Manager/Director to lead and scale our growing inside sales and telemarketing team, playing a key role in connecting more homeowners with renewable energy opportunities.
The Call Center Manager/Director will oversee daily operations of our appointment setting and telemarketing department. This leader will be responsible for managing performance, coaching agents, implementing systems, and ensuring the team consistently meets appointment-setting and lead-generation goals. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, call center management experience, and a proven track record of driving sales support teams to success in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Appointment Setters and Telemarketing Agents.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new call center agents to maintain a high-performing team.
- Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for calls, appointments, and conversions.
- Monitor live calls, provide real-time feedback, and implement ongoing coaching and training programs.
- Develop and refine call scripts, objection-handling techniques, and best practices.
- Oversee call center operations, including schedules, workflows, and use of CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales scripts, and legal/regulatory requirements (TCPA, Do Not Call rules, etc.).
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to align appointment-setting efforts with field sales goals.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership.
- Motivate the team to exceed performance targets while maintaining a positive, energetic culture.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 3–5+ years of experience managing call centers, sales teams, or telemarketing operations.- Previous experience in solar, energy, or home services industry is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Proven ability to manage KPIs, hit targets, and scale a sales support operation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, call center software, and performance reporting tools.
