Description:
ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The CAD Tech is responsible for preparing and revising topographic surveys, volume quantities and construction drawings, and ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information on all drawings, plans and surveys.
Responsibilities
•Responsible for drafting and preparation of survey drawings for the assigned project.
•Prepare as-built and topographic survey plans.
•Produce accurate topographic and cross-sectional plans.
•Produce final working and construction drawings along with managing revisions and additions.
•Maintain technical library, records management and drawing archives.
•Provide drafting support on various technical documentation projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Demonstrated skill and experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other drafting tools and software.
•Experience working with Survey information is an asset.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Able to collaborate and work as part of a team.
Requirements:
Experience/Qualifications:
•Diploma or equivalent experiences in civil or/and survey.
•Previous Experience working in Construction and infrastructure projects.
•Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role, in Civil and construction projects.
Work Environment:
•This position is primarily indoors.
•This work environment may involve minimal exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
