Job Summary
The CAD/REVIT drafter will support the creation and review of 2D and 3D electrical design and construction as-built packages for various projects and clients. This role will also provide support for Senior designers to meet design deliverables.
This is a hybrid salaried professional position, allowing for remote work along with a collaborative and supportive setting in an office environment. The role will require periods of consistant onsite field work at times, in areas with electrical infrastructure and other facilities equipment and systems.
Who You Are
•Able to work semi-independently after receiving direction on assigned tasks
•Work alongside engineers and designers to generate and review electrical design deliverables, along with documentation and archiving of record documents
•Provide consistent and accurate project deliverables
•Demonstrate a high standard of customer service and professionalism
Qualifications
•Ability to use AutoCAD LT
•Ability to use Revit or equivalent BIM software
•Able to use Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
•Able to read floor plans, sections, and elevations
•Ability to obtain security clearance (passport, background check)
•Ability to learn new programs quickly
•Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
•Previous construction experience (fieldwork, project management)
•Proficiency in the AutoDesk 2D and 3D tools, or equivalent programs
•Strong technical expertise in MEP disiplines
•Associate’s Degree in closely related discipline is preferred
•Essential professional licensure/certification
