About This Job

THIS POSITION

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our growing team! As a CAD Designer, you will support senior engineers in the preparation of construction documents and assist in the design and planning of infrastructure projects. You’ll help ensure that we deliver accurate, high-quality projects to our diverse portfolio of clients.

To be considered, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or relevant work experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. You should also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Assist senior engineers in the design and planning of infrastructure projects

•

Prepare construction documents including drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation

•

Verify that deliverables, including drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and construction documents, satisfy scope and technical requirements

•

Communicate with clients and agencies

•

Work with a high degree of problem solving and critical thinking with little supervision

•

Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

•

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred

•

1-2 years of industry experience

•

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant software such as MicroStation

•

Written and verbal communication skills

•

Attention to detail and organizational skills

LOCATION

•

This position is located in our Clovis office and requires off-site meetings or job site visits
