JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Tax Manager to join our public company Tax Department. The role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in ASC 740 for international operations, international tax reporting and compliance, and the ability to lead a wide range of tax-oriented projects in a dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
- Support quarterly and annual consolidated tax provision calculations, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K disclosures and tax roll forwards
- Manage the international components of U.S. direct tax filings and audits
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the international tax process to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Oversee direct and indirect execution of international tax audits and ensure strict compliance with foreign business registrations and nexus requirements
- Monitor global tax law developments and proactively prepare technical tax memoranda that supports the Company’s reporting and compliance activities
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for internal and external audits
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college
- 7 - 10 years of experience in international taxation
- Proven expertise with ASC 740 and U.S. reporting of foreign operations
- Experience preparing forms 5471, 1118, 8858 and other international tax forms as required
- Experience with Umbrella Partnership – C-Corp structures a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated, including a demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
