About This Job

Position Overview:

We are looking for Fabricator to join our cabinet manufacturing team. The Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, to create high-quality custom cabinets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship, as well as the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions, materials, and assembly methods for cabinet production.

•

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials according to specified measurements and designs.

•

Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery (such as saws, routers, and drills) to fabricate components for cabinets.

•

Assemble cabinet parts (e.g., doors, panels, drawers, and frames) using adhesives, screws, nails, and other fastening techniques.

•

Ensure the quality and precision of all components by conducting thorough inspections and making necessary adjustments to machinery and techniques.

•

Operate machines and other specialized equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers to create precise cuts and parts for custom cabinetry.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

•

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in woodworking or cabinetry is preferred.

•

Proven experience in cabinet fabrication or woodworking, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.

•

Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

•

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

The ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

•

Commitment to following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment

Working Conditions

•

Full-time position with regular shifts.

•

Work is performed in a workshop or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and wood dust.

•

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be worn at all times.

Physical Requirements:

•

Work is in a warehouse setting and may be performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, increased noise levels and dust.

•

Employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, balance, stoop, grasp, talk and hear. Job may require reaching at or above shoulder level and below waist. Must be able lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

•

Able to spend extended periods on their feet or walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
