About the Role:
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer – General Services and Indirect to support procurement operations across our Wind and Support Services teams. This role will play a key part in sourcing, procuring, and managing materials, equipment, and services necessary for successful field and corporate operations. The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative, and excels in vendor management and cost control.
What You'll Do:
Procurement & Sourcing
•Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and contractual terms
•Coordinate with operations to ensure invoice accuracy and adherence to budget
•Liaise with field teams to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery
Vendor Management & Cost Control
•Manage and maintain an approved vendor list meeting safety, compliance, and performance expectations
•Develop strong supplier relationships to support project success
•Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through negotiation and sourcing strategies
Compliance & Reporting
•Ensure procurement processes align with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
•Produce reports on procurement activities including cost tracking, supplier performance, and impact summaries
•Support audits and maintain accurate procurement records
Qualifications/Requirements:
•Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within support services or related industries
•Knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiation
•Familiarity with inventory and cost control principles
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Netsuite experience preferred
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
•Ability to work effectively across departments and external suppliers
Eligibility Requirements:
•Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
•Able to pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug test
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
•Primarily office-based role with occasional visits to warehouse or project sites
•Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and manage multiple priorities
