Role Summary: ONE Gas is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Gas Supply and Transportation IT team. This role will play a key part in the implementation and optimization of applications, such as Quorum Software, and providing support to gas purchasing and transportation billing operations. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, process documentation, facilitating training efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and effective use of Quorum and other Gas Supply and Transportation related applications.

What You Will Do

Performs all aspects of work related to documenting business needs, system documentation, tracking and resolving user issues, testing, and training for systems applicable to business unit supported.

Leads efforts to define, document, and maintain system specifications including business processes, functional requirements, and functional designs.

Troubleshoots moderate to complex production support tickets and end-user questions that may require collaboration with multiple business or technical teams to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.

Invests time with business to continually develop an intermediate level of business knowledge of the business unit(s) supported.

Leads small to medium reviews of business requests for IT projects/services and collaborates with business requestor to create business case document that clearly articulates the scope and business value of the request.

Develops and maintains end-user training materials, job aides and support training delivery. Deliver simple training instruction to end-users.

Designs testing procedures to measure efficiency and integrity of processes.

Documents and executes moderate to complex software test cases.

Assist in the planning and execution of software testing.

Introduces enhancements and procedure changes for supported systems (as specified by position).

Creates and maintains simple to moderately-complex data queries and reports to provide data analysis tools to system users and stakeholders.

Performs business analysis tasks as a member of a project team.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

What You Will Need

Preferred Bachelor's Degree accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, MIS, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:

3+ year's experience with Enterprise applications.

Configure applicable systems software.

Experience relative to:

Desktop application/hardware

Interpersonal communications

System security administration

Preferred SQL Query skills

Preferred industry experience working with or within a Gas Supply/Gas Marketing or Gas Transportation department

Preferred knowledge of Quorum Software applications or similar tools used for gas marketing, pipeline transaction management, pipeline nominations or gas measurement

Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and analyze systems software problems, and perform systems evaluation.

Review manuals, journals, system reports, and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to research, prepare and compose systems operating procedures and documentation, reports, and correspondence.

Interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to develop and present information to individuals and groups.

Demonstrated ability with application of arithmetic and computer math.

Read and write fluently in English.

Preferred Applicable Driver's License

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.

Communicate and exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations.

Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
