Summary
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for maintaining, evaluating, and improving business processes across the organization, working closely with stakeholder departments, business partners, and technical teams. This role develops and strategizes business solutions, oversees their implementation, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and data governance frameworks. The Business Process Analyst fosters collaboration to drive adoption, streamline workflows, and enhance connectivity with external systems.
Some of the work you will do:
•Analyze and maintain current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Evaluate implemented processes and provide actionable insights to address outstanding pain points and enable continuous improvement.
•Work with specific business areas, technical partners, and affected stakeholders to strategize and implement business process enhancements. Coordinate with IT and IS team to identify tools and solutions that support process optimization.
•Drive the adoption and effective usage of new processes by impacted departments and business partners. Support business transition initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
•Engage with personnel across departments to understand the scope of work and the impact of current or proposed processes on operational efficiency.
•Authorize the adoption of new processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations, ISO standards, and organizational policies.
Here are the skills that you need:
•Proven experience in process management, business analysis, or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or project-based environment.
•Experience with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, and the ability to align processes with certification requirements.
•Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart).
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Here are the skills and qualifications that will set you apart:
•Experience with specific software systems, including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), task management or project management tools, and CRM software (e.g., Microsoft CRM).
•Understanding of engineering and design software such as Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and Revit, as well as construction-focused tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and Bluebeam.
•Proven experience in project-based business operations, water industry experience is a plus.
•Experience with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, and the ability to align processes with certification requirements.
•Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to perform tasks while in a sedentary position using a computer and phone.
•Frequently required to engage in talking, hearing, and visual focus.
•Regularly required to move throughout the facility, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
•Some lifting may be involved (up to 50 lbs.)
