Role Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to support data analysis and decision-making across the organization. This role involves working closely with business users to understand their data analysis needs, translating requirements into actionable reports, and ensuring data integrity and governance. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in Power BI development, data modeling, and SQL querying, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:Report and Dashboard Development* Develop and implement Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business user requirements and data analysis needs.Data Modeling and Management* Manage and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data governance.
SQL Querying and Data Extraction* Design and develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Integration and Collaboration* Collaborate with IT/IS teams to integrate Power BI reports into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
Additional* Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements to existing reports and dashboards.
Work Environment* Typically work is performed in an office setting.
Physical Demands* Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred* Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP platforms is a plus.
