This role will focus on selling UPS’s suite of services—including parts, repairs, turnarounds, field services, and specialty maintenance solutions—to refiners, petrochemical operators, midstream companies, and industrial chemical facilities.

The successful candidate will be a hunter-minded sales professional with deep industry relationships and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that create long-term customer value while driving revenue growth for UPS.

- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers (procurement, maintenance, engineering, operations).

- Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring clear communication, proactive service, and strong customer satisfaction.

- Conduct regular on-site visits to understand customer needs and position UPS as a strategic partner.

Commercial Execution

- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, bids, and presentations to customers.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing within established guidelines.

- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, engineering, supply chain) to ensure feasibility and delivery commitments.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies.

- Provide accurate pipeline forecasts, activity reports, and market insights to the Sales Director.

- Contribute to marketing campaigns, trade shows, and customer outreach initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).

- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Chemical industries.

- Strong knowledge of industrial services, turnaround/maintenance projects, and capital equipment repair.

- Proven track record of building and growing a territory or customer base.

- Ability to travel up to 50% within the Western U.S.

Preferred

- Established network of contacts within refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial chemical facilities.

- Familiarity with rotating equipment, mechanical services, and specialty maintenance.

- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

Key Competencies

- Hunter mentality with strong drive for results.
