Description:

W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between.

This role is responsible for identifying and generating new sales opportunities, as well as driving the sales of products, systems, and services to clients in the data center and power generation sectors, including utilities. The successful candidate will have a proven background that showcases a deep understanding of the data center industry, including its key stakeholders, decision-making processes, and market trends, along with a demonstrated history of successful sales performance. While knowledge of electrical products and systems is preferred, it is not required.

Requirements:
Represent and promote W-Industries products and solutions at industry events and groups.
Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the data center and mission-critical power generation markets.
Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to create tailored electrical distribution solutions for the target market, including power generation and distribution packages, both with and without partners.
Stay up-to-date with new technological developments and releases, applying relevant advancements to projects and processes where beneficial.
Gain a deep understanding of key customers' organizations and facilitate introductions to Volta's leadership and engineering teams.
Prepare and present promotional and marketing materials for the target market.
Provide management with regular status updates and progress reports on active pursuits, as well as historical performance data.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships with data center owners, operators, and mission-critical power generation providers.

In-depth understanding of the power infrastructure that supports and surrounds data centers.
Familiarity with industry regulations and future mandates.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments, prioritizing effectively and efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to listen effectively and solicit input from others.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, long hours on computer keyboard.

Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.).
Frequent travel within the US.

Required Experience & Education

At least 8 years of experience in the data center and/or mission-critical power generation markets, or 5 years in technical sales.

Solid working knowledge of power generation, distribution, and control infrastructure within data centers.
Familiarity with CRM systems and their use in managing customer relationships.
A strong understanding of the organizational structure within data centers.

Experience with electrical products OEMs/manufacturers related to DES (e.g., ABB, Emerson, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.).
Familiarity with mission-critical power generation suppliers (e.g., CAT, Solar, ProEnergy, MTU, etc.).
A well-established network of engineering and operations management professionals across various customer organizations.
