Our customers are quality driven companies serving industries ranging from aerospace products to automotive parts to firearms components to medical device manufacturing to commercial goods. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive our sales growth.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced results-driven Outside Sales Person to represent our machining capabilities and create new business opportunities. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with potential customers, identify their needs, and offer tailored machining solutions to meet those needs, from simple machined parts to turnkey applications that start with design and end in finished goods.


Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the machine shop's capabilities, services, and product offerings.
Prospect and identify potential customers within the target market to generate new business leads.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Utilize the internet and other electronic tools to source qualified leads that are converted to new customers
Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular communication and customer visits.
Present and demonstrate our machining capabilities to customers, effectively showcasing the value and benefits of working with Plouse.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and orders.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.


Qualifications:

5+ years proven outside sales experience in the manufacturing or machining industry. Experience in a job shop machine shop a plus.
In-depth knowledge of machining processes and understanding of CNC capabilities. Engineering background strongly desired.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical buyers.
Internet, web and search engine expertise to reach digital prospects
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented individual with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based sales role.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the United States.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office suite-Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools (Zoho and JobBoss).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.


Job Type: Full-time

· Hybrid: Work hybrid (just be available to work in our office location a pre-set schedule and/or visit client locations, when required)

Pay: Base salary $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year with a commission plan implemented on or about the 90 day introductory period successful completion
