About your role:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties, including being the point of contact between the client and the Company. The Business Development / Engineer is responsible for client outreach, company visibility, developing leads, managing CRM (Salesforce), and assisting with tasks that require contact with clients, such as proposals.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
•Analyze existing and potential markets to identify and secure business development opportunities.
•Prepare practical proposals, presentations, demonstrations, and sales tools on business development opportunities for management.
•Monitor product sales to analyze pricing plus promotional requirements.
•Collect and maintain competitive information to present a complete market evaluation for specific products.
•Develop good customer relationships with new and existing clients through personal visits, phone calls, follow-ups, e-mails, etc.
•Prospect for potential new clients.
•Research and build relationships with new clients.
•Research business or economic trends and recommend viable new growth strategies.
•Work with internal teams to achieve targeted business goals.
•Assist with other duties as assigned.
Work Hours:
Company Hours
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
40-Hour Work Week
Monday through Friday, hours may vary with the workload.
Evenings/Weekends/OT
As needed to satisfy the requirements of the position.

Education
•Bachelor’s degree Required.
•3 years’ experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
Type of Experience Needed to be Successful
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
•Basic leadership skills and some general experience leading work groups to task forces in specific projects.

•Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients.
•Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Supervisory Expectations:
•No supervisory responsibilities.
