Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for our passengers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage behavior effectively while ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
Duties
•
Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to designated locations.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
•
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
•
Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times.
•
Manage passenger behavior during transit, employing effective behavior management techniques as necessary.
•
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
•
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
•
Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and passenger counts.
Experience
•
Previous experience as a van driver or school bus driver is preferred.
•
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse populations.
•
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with various passenger demographics.
•
Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
•
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
•
Ability to demonstrate patience and understanding in managing passenger behavior effectively.
