Bus Assembler

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6AM to 2:30PM, must be available to work some Saturdays

What You'll Do

- Assemble and install copper bus and conductive materials into electrical enclosures according to engineering drawings and schematics.

- Execute complex assemblies with precision, ensuring projects meet or exceed deadlines.

- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance, mentorship, and training to junior team members.

- Apply manufacturing expertise to interpret specifications, identify errors, and improve processes.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Complete all necessary documentation, including Engineering Corrective Reports, Non-Conformance Reports, and Material Transfer Requests.

Qualifications

Education:

- High School Diploma or GED, Required.

Experience:

- 1+ year assembling copper bus or similar conductive materials in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

- Expertise in production processes, quality control, and mechanical assembly.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse manufacturing conditions.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.

- Exposure to varying temperatures, electrical components, chemicals, and mechanical parts.
