Building Maintenance

A growing Central CT ISO and ITAR certified Class A die house, with expanding metal stamping and CNC machining operations, has an immediate opening for a first shift maintenance position. Candidate must be able to maintain the interior and exterior of a 52,000 square foot building on a daily basis. Clean driving record is a required as light driving in company vehicles is involved.

Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision. Candidate must be able to lift 30lbs. A minimum of 3 years experience is required. Hours include Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30 pm with overtime to be worked as needed to satisfy expanding operating requirements and other needs.

Position Duties: Can include, but is not limited to:

- Daily responsibilities to include the maintenance of all lavatories break areas, shop floors, office space, removal of garbage’s throughout the plant, and other general maintenance duties as required.

- Will be required to monitor and purchase items such as paper/plastic products, cleaning agents and lighting supplies.

- Interior, all walls to be maintained free of hand print and stains. Light painting if needed. Person to maintain a clean shop floor, free of debris and to instill support from everyone within his or her personal working area.

- Exterior, maintenance to include dumpster scheduling, ground maintenance and landscaping, and pedestrian entryway snow cleaning.

- Provide support to all departments to ensure areas are cleaned and maintained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
