We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bridge Carpenter Forman to join our team on our multi year project located near Lake Ray Hubbard.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work for carpenter construction crews and coordinate all efforts with the supervisors on the project site.
· 5+ years of experience as a Bridge Carpenter Forman leading crews on heavy highway project, with a focus on columns, caps, forms and pouring substructure concrete.
· Read and interpret Blueprints and understand job specification.
· Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail in carpentry operations.
· Experienced in planning, scheduling, and managing carpentry materials.
· Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and enforcing jobsite safety practices.
· Must lead by example and with respect.
· Flexible and capable of working night shifts and extended schedules as needed
· Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
· The noise level in the work environment and job sites is usually loud.
· Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending and lifting 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
· The Carpenter Foreman plays a crucial role in supervising and coordinating the activities of carpenter workers to ensure that all tasks are executed safely, correctly, and within the designated timelines.
· This position requires a strong understanding of carpentry practices, and the ability to outline the work to be accomplished on a daily basis.
· Daily logs of work performed, quantities and employees’ hours.
· Strong knowledge of carpentry, tools, procedures, and best practices.
· Assign job tasks to crew members and ensure that each member is properly trained.
· Must be able to coordinate work according to priorities and plans.
· Responsibilities include ensuring work is completed correctly to specs, safely, on schedule.
· Manage equipment, tools, materials, and work crews to meet productivity.
· Plan work and schedules related to carpentry tasks.
· Maintain and supervise a clean jobsite free of tripping hazards and unnecessary obstacles.
· Inspect carpentry work for adherence to standards and tolerances, addressing issues promptly.

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience.
