Description
The Local Fleet Manager position oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and management of ReVision's vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, logistics, and ensuring that all vehicles are maintained in optimal condition while meeting compliance standards. This is an in-office on-site position.
•Collaborate with other branch fleet managers to ensure all branches are sharing best practices and resources
•Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained by ReVision standards by using manufacturers recommendations as a guide, including managing service schedules, records, and managing repairs
•Prompt resolution for all vehicle malfunctions and/or damages including recovery coordination, jump starts, and flat repairs
•Retirement of older fleet vehicles, and implementation of new fleet vehicles, and sourcing the best repair options when necessary
•Manage service vendor relationships with focus on cost, quality of product delivered and customer service, including finding new partnerships as needed
•Maintain all WEX, EZ-pass, telematics and Fleetio information
•Assist marketing in fulfilling requests including but not limited to providing measurements and dimensions, feedback on aging decals, logistics with our third-party vinyl installer
•Ensure all vehicles are in safe operating standing according to company and state safety standards, including a valid state inspection and quarterly fire extinguisher and first aid kit inspections for all install vehicles
•Perform light mechanical and electrical work
•Ensure all insurance/ EZ pass/ Inspections/ registrations are kept up to date

•South Portland liaison "Enterprise VIP" car rentals for co-owners
•Ongoing periodic vehicle inspection for damage and driver compliance with detailed damage reports, if needed
• Facilitate new driver training, road tests for regulated drivers, and explanation of Fleetio, WEX, GeoTab, and Samsara systems
•Collaborate to create and establish fleet policies and update procedures with other fleet managers and HR
•Work with Operations and CW Fleet manager for the best utilization and assignments of company vehicles
•Ability to properly maintain branch vehicle information to help guide future fleet requirements
Requirements
•Maintain a valid and clean driver's license and record, pass a DOT physical, and maintain a DOT medical card
•Must be able to life 50 pounds without assistance
•Willingness to work outside and handle vehicles in various weather conditions if needed
•Experience in fleet management or logistics
•Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair processes, including managing service schedules and managing repairs
•Experience in budgeting and cost control for fleet operations
•Basic mechanical knowledge of fleet vehicles (trucks, cars, etc.)
•Understanding of GPS tracking systems for vehicle performance monitoring
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other software tools for reporting analysis
Preferred Requirements
•Associate's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, is preferred, but candidates with 5+ years of direct experience in fleet operations or vehicle maintenance will be considered in lieu of a degree
•Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance regulations related to fleet operations, managing fuel consumption, and implementing sustainability measures within fleet operations
•Knowledge of driver behavior monitoring systems and improving driver performance
