About This Job

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (“WQS NDT”) is actively recruiting for a Borescope Operator to join the WQS NDT Team!

Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off; 10-hour days

Duration: June 1 to August 15, 2025

Equipment: IPLEX GL/GX/GT & Wohler VIS 700

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Day and Night shifts available.

•

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants residing in the Edmonton area.

What You Will Bring:

•

A minimum of 2+ years experience as a Borescope Operator, CWB and API certifications considered an asset.

•

Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.

•

Ability to follow client inspection test plans.

•

Proficient in reading ISO Drawings, weld maps, and P&ID’s.

•

Intimate knowledge of current code requirements.

•

Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.

•

Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.

•

Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.

•

Certified IRATA Rope Access technician or be willing to obtain their IRATA certification considered an asset.
