Boom Truck/Picker Operator

SLH Picker Service is currently looking for a Boom Truck Operator to join our team in Slave Lake, Alberta. The position is full time 2 week on and 1 week off rotation.

Duties include the following;

- Conduct proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections

- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly crane inspection prior to all work

- Operate/Maintain National 30/45 Ton Picker and/or Knuckle Booms

- Communicate with dispatch for daily jobs

- Ability to pin/unpin from trailers, and load equipment as needed

- Inspect all rigging as required to ensure proper working condition, any thing out of service to be reported to our crane and rigging supervisor

- Loading, unloading lifting and lowering of equipment as per boom truck operator training

- Must comply with all client and legislative rules as required by the job

Qualifications

- Boom/Crane truck apprenticeship/journeyman

- Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract

- Commitment to safe work practices

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:

- oilfield driving: 3 years (preferred)
