SP Distribution is a successful distribution company of juvenile products in the United States. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Bookkeeper at SP Distribution LLC, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including close relationship with customers and vendors.

- Monitor financial transactions such as orders, invoices, payments, expenses, and journal entries among others.

- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and promptly resolve issues to maintain the integrity of financial records.

- Review and reconcile customer returns and chargebacks.

- Ensure proper sales orders processing through different sales channels such us Wholesale, Webshop, and Customer Service.

- Monitor and maintain accuracy of several EDI platforms and system integrations such as Lingo, Cymbio, Celigo, Avalara, Fortis, and Fispan among others.

- Liaise with Customer Service, Operations, and Sales Department staff.

- Provide support in financial analysis, reporting, and additional projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of proven accounting experience in a similar position / company.

- Strong ability to work independently and achieve personal and corporate goals.

- Must be detail oriented and well organized with effective time management skills.

- Highest levels of honesty, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

- Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and financial management software.

- Familiarity with distribution operations and/or the juvenile industry is an advantage.

- Expertise in NetSuite ERP system is preferred.
