Boilermaker (Houston, TX) - Austin Industrial (TPC) - Maintenance

Austin Industrial, Inc. - We seek an experienced NCCER Boilermaker based in Houston, Texas.

This position requires NCCER Boilermaker certification, a Valid Driver's License, and a TWIC Card.

Maintenance position works 4x10s plus occasional OT - No Per Diem.

Boilermaker

Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, following blueprints. Work involves use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles. Assist in testing assembled vessels. Engages in the direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. Inspect and repair boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, automatic control mechanisms, water columns, and auxiliary machines. Qualifications Required For This Position

Education: no minimum education requirements.

Certification/License: NCCER Boilermaker certification, a Valid Driver's License, and a TWIC Card

Experience: 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
