Summary:

The Blade Repair Technician II works collectively as part of small team to ensure all tasks are correctly prioritized and conducted in a safe and timely manner at the highest quality. This position performs specialized tasks related to wind turbine blade maintenance and repair, including inspections, as well as the use of platforms and hanging scaffolding. Work tasks involve vertical work, confined space activities such as internal blade inspections or structural repairs, composite and fiberglass repair, sanding, spraying, wearing protective equipment and using tools both up tower, or down tower.

Qualifications:

+ High voltage electrical power systems + 2m Basket + Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) + Low voltage and medium voltage electrical power systems + Different wind technologies/platforms. + Safety Data Sheets + OSHA regulations + Equipment operation (skid-steer, forklift, etc.) + Job hazard analysis (JHA) creation + Electrical tools (multimeter, IR camera) + ANSI/NETA/MTS + SCADA systems + Hand tools (orbitals, grinders, stripper, vacuum pumps, meters, etc.) + Professional knowledge, control, disposal and correct application of the chemical products, used in blade repair (epoxy/polyester resin, polyurethane/methacrylate adhesives, polyurethane paints/coatings, fillers, etc.).

Anticipated base salary range: $28.09 - $35.11

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
