OWASA is seeking a Billing and Collections Technician to oversee the process of billing, collecting, and recording utility payments for all residential and commercial customers while providing excellent customer service through accurate, consistent, and proactive customer service. The ideal candidate should have the desire to understand customer needs.
Examples of DutiesDuties include:* Coordinate regular billing process for residential and commercial customers and transmit billing files to third-party bill vendor. Research and document issues discovered with notes entered into customer account records and investigate systemic issues.
Position Requirements:* High school diploma or GED plus specialized training in customer service, billing, or business. Minimum of three years’ experience in customer service and/or billing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
