Barista/Customer Service Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Lead Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a tourist environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and smoothies

-Suggestive selling with our unique souvieners to travellers and hotel guests

- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and recommending menu items

- Operate coffee making equipment with precision and care

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area as well as our retail store.

- Handle cash transactions accurately

- Follow food safety standards and procedures

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred

- Knowledge of food safety practices

- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy

- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor

- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling payments

- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
