Band Saw Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a saw to cut steel to specific lengths, as well as other general shop labor. This role requires the ability to accurately read a tape measure. The Saw Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

- Operate and maintain saws, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

- Perform quality inspections on finished products using precise measuring

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production targets are met.

- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to assist in the assembly of components.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
