Backend Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains software applications. You will lead small projects, mentoring other engineers, optimize software performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective software solutions. At this time, we have a strong preference for candidates in the Boise market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

+ Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Spring, Django). + Skills in designing software solutions that meet business requirements. + Ability to lead small projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks. + Expertise in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. + Skills in analyzing and optimizing software performance. + Experience in developing and integrating APIs. + Proficiency with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). + Ability to mentor and train other engineers. + Proficiency in database design, management, and SQL. + Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization. + Effective verbal and written communication skills.
