About the Role:

This integral position will lead the B2B Sales team and discipline in the US, developing customer and business strategies, driving integrated value and delivery of financial plan!


Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of sales professionals to develop strategic customer relationships and provide differentiated offers in line with customer segmentation and coordinated strategies

Drive team to identify and deliver sales opportunities, supporting cross-business opportunities, that link across ST&S, M&C, and related bp businesses

Develop and drive standard methodologies in commercial contracts, linking to demand forecasting and embedding commercial optionality where appropriate

Initiate and deliver hopper of strategic and tactical customer opportunities

Develop and drive use of digital tools for external customer engagement, contract management, and internal technological advancement.

Coach and performance team to deliver optimal performance and continue to evolve as customers, markets and bp evolve

Act as servant leader and support B2B team as needed; actively upskill / coach employees to support team and personal development goals

Hold senior external relationships and act as senior internal and external representative of bp ́s ground fuels B2B business in North America

Deliver annual plan of $170m+ standard margin in partnership with supply and trading colleagues and as outlined in mid-term plans


Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

At least 10 years in fuel sales ideally in diverse businesses and geographies


Direct customer relationships and negotiations

Commercial savvy and ability to adapt to changing environment


Fuel supply and other midstream experience

Informal leadership experience required; prior team leadership experience preferred

How much we pay (Base): $160,000-$240,000 *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

This position is eligible for US Benefits – Core. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours[LC1] of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
