B Pressure Welder

Kootenay Industries LTD is currently looking for day shift B-Pressure Welders for our SE Calgary Fabrication shop

Experience in a Stainless Steel is a must

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE

- Must hold a valid Grade B Pressure Welder Certificate of Competency and must pass internal shop testing. - 2+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required - 2+ years of experience in stainless fabrication

- Self-motivated individuals, with strong attention to detail, who take pride in producing quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment

- Good communication skills, both written and oral

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Read and interpret drawings

- Follow proper weld procedures

- Welding pressure vessels and piping in accordance with the applicable ASME code

- Operate overhead cranes

- Comply with Quality and Safety standards

- Be an active participant in the company’s safety program
