Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications. This position requires a strong understanding of both development and operations, with a focus on automation, system administration, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
•Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab.
•Automate deployment processes and manage infrastructure using tools like Puppet.
•Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability of applications.
•Manage cloud environments including Google Cloud Platform and OpenStack to support scalable application deployment.
•Implement web services and APIs while ensuring security protocols are followed.
•Maintain Active Directory for user management and access control.
•Utilize DynamoDB for database management and optimization.
•Work with network protocols such as TCP to ensure efficient communication between services.
•Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team reference.
Requirements
•Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.
•Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform and OpenStack.
•Strong knowledge of version control systems, specifically GitLab.
•Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
•Experience with web services architecture and RESTful APIs.
•Understanding of Active Directory management for user authentication.
•Knowledge of database solutions including DynamoDB.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
•Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
